TAEE Releases Results of Candidate Pre-K Survey The Tennessee Alliance for Early Education has released the results of its recent survey sent to all candidates for the Tennessee General Assembly to determine where they stand on the issue of state-funded, voluntary pre-kindergarten. We believe it is critical for voters to be informed about whether or not candidates support funding for the expansion of our state’s highly ranked pre-K program.
We received 35 responses to our survey, with 33 showing full or partial support for pre-K. You may click on each candidate’s name to view a PDF file of that candidate’s completed survey. Click here to view all surveys received by TAEE. Candidates absent from the list below did not submit a completed survey to TAEE. We urge readers not to assume that a lack of response indicates a lack of interest in or support for pre-K, as this is a busy time for candidates.
As advocates for the continued expansion of pre-K, we encourage you to contact these candidates and your legislators to share with them why pre-K is critical for the future success of our state.
